Or we could just let them pick Killorn, sign a cheaper backup, and end up keeping the better player in Gourde, and keep our 1st

They could do this but I like Killorn way better than Gourde.

I think that it could take a late first for Seattle to take Gourde instead of one of the younger players like Volkov, Cernak, or Foote.

Gourde is criminally underrated if people think Tampa will pay a 1st to move him. No player on the lightning is as well rounded as Gourde.

Which is why you go 4x4 protect Point, Stamkos, Kucherov, Cirrelli Hedmann Sergachev,Cernak Foote Vasilevskiy and take your chance or make a deal.
