Well I did look at the game you wanted me to and your take on it was hilariously bad. The eye test confirmed what the stats have told me. This is further evidenced by the fact that LA demoted him. Changing him to 1A/1B, still a demotion. It says a lot about what the team thinks of him and his value.

The only person valuing Quick ... is you.

It reflects that the Kings know that he's 35 years old and need to start thinking about the future, and the fact that they could realistically lose Quick to Seattle. They don't want to have a goaltender that only has a handful of games under his belt as their only option next season. Make no mistake, if LA makes the playoffs this season, Quick is the goaltender they're going with.

That's clearly not true. There's reportedly rising interest in Quick around the league thanks to his quality recent play.

The fact he was mentioned in the same sentence as Dubnyk should really tell you something. This is a guy you were telling me Quick wasn't comparable to not to long ago, lmao.

That Dubnyk has to play behind Burns and Karlsson and is likely not as bad as his record suggests? I don't know. I haven't watched a ton of San Jose games this year, so I don't pretend to know how good or bad he has actually been based on numbers on a spreadsheet.

However, regardless of the company, it clearly shows that I am not the only person that values Quick and that you, once again, are resorting to hyperbole because your argument doesn't hold up.

It actually doesn't show anything. Its an analyst throwing darts at a board. Something which has shown to be quite common in the hockey world, especially among trades.

The only argument which hasn't been able to hold up to closer inspection here is yours. Even the eye test of the videos you provided show Quick is not a good goalie, which has lined up with both the stats and LAs usage of him. There isn't an argument to be had about it here anymore which is why you are trying to strawman again.

Kevin Weeks has a very solid history of only reporting news from reputable sources. He's not Eklund.

You haven't provided any evidence whatsoever, so I'll take mine over yours, thanks.

The stats, your video, LAs usage. Its all evidence of the same thing. You can ignore it if you want but the argument has been proven. Quick isn't a good goalie anymore.
