ARZ does not make this deal.. its basically Garland for Pettersson.. not happening.
2nd for Staal is probably good value, but I dont know if I want to move a 2nd haha

Arizona probably says no, I'd add Poulin with Pettersson to get Garland I'm high on him

Garland + Salaries they don't need to pay /in exchange for/ Pettersson + C level prospect and a 4th

That's the way I saw it. Would it be better balanced with a 3rd or do you think Pettersson for Garland is way off without another big piece?

I honestly think its unlikely Arizona moves him at all, but itll take much more. At least a 1st+. I think they have bigger needs than a LHD at the moment.

There was an article in the athletic today with one GM saying that the highest staal should get is a 3rd, most likely a 4th. Everyone knows buffalo is selling and Staal isn't having a banner season.

at this point a 3rd or 4th will get Staal unless buffalo gets too greedy, he would definitely help the bottom 6 tho
