MCD and Cernak are DTD and per the Lightning’s twitter were scratched. No one has moved off or on LTIR since Stephens was put on some months ago. I’m confused on if Tampa was over the cap tonight

Simply put cap space is acrued daily. Ita probably a lot more complicated than that and the league wp7ld jave stepped in if there was an issue

I thought you can’t accrue cap space when you’re using LTIR space tho?

Generally yes, but thats if nothing on the roster ever changes. Tampa placed Johnson on waivers a while back and he goes on their taxi squad on off days

Pretty sure we'd have heard about it or I guess they'd have to dress fewer players for the game. Never seen this be so close to reality.
