A first, good prospect and a 2nd for a goalie for one year is bad asset management.

The extra year would definitely be better, but not sure the Leafs should be giving up this much for a goalie at his age (even if he is playing lights out this year)

Vegas would probably take even the modification

Even if you swapped out Lehner for Fluery would probably take the 2nd and Liljegren. And his deal is the same 5 million you would bring over with retention but for 4 years then.
