They were shut out 5 times since they last won a game. They scored 2G or less in 14 of the 18 games. They lost 11 of the 18 games by 3G or more. They allowed 4G or more in 12 of the 18 games. Taylor Hall was held pointless in 12 of the 18 games and was held without a goal in 17 times. He scored 1G.

Those are still losses. Yes, they get an extra point, but they still lost those games.

When it comes to like nhl record books and stuff ot losses count more as not winning rather than losing (it’s pretty stupid ik)
