Bruins happily decline this one - way to many assets for Vats who they could have signed as a UFA and Kyle who is a rental. Bruins are in win now mode, but to be fair our prospect pool is weak due to some bad drafting the last few years.

We should keep the first and target some UFA's for next season - I mean the next UFA group with expansion draft coming is pretty big (Hall, RNH, Saad, Getz, Landeskog, Ov, Tatar, Hoffman, Schwartz, Palmieri etc) you get the idea its a lot. With the cap staying flat some of the players will look for raises and put teams in a bind etc. The Bruins would need to do a "Hockey Trade" and move some pieces with upside on the current roster or move people are a underperforming for other underperforming players in hopes each player finds their groove again.
