Nashville Predators- Nashville pays Seattle a 2021 1st round pick (assuming NSH makes the playoffs), a 2023 3rd round pick and Connor Ingram to take Ryan Johansen.
New Jersey Devils- Hischier, Bratt, Wood, Zacha, McLeod, Kuomkanen, Sharangovic, Subban, Severson, Butcher, Blackwood. Seattle selects Nathan Bastian.

Everyone has Seattle selecting McCann from Pittsburgh in their mock expansion draft. It would be crazy if Hextall left him exposed. I believe that they SHOULD and hopefully will protect: Letang, Dumoulin, Pettersson, Jarry, Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel, Rust, Kapanen, McCann, and one of Tanev, Blueger, and ZAR. They should leave Zucker exposed. Worst case, Seattle selects him and Pittsburgh has cap space going into the offseason. I as a Pens fan am going to be pissed if they don't protect McCann.

Honestly even if he isn’t the best I think they should protect him cuz some old fart of a gm will value him highly in a trade because he’s big and plays RHD

Age: 24, Salary: 2.94 million (2 yrs including current left, RFA), currently 17 pts/25 games
McCann is younger, cheaper, and is an RFA at the end of his contract. Maybe they protect both and leave Blueger, Tanev, and ZAR exposed idk, but I personally think that it would be dumb of them to leave McCann exposed since I don't think he is the least valuable asset of these 5 players.

Yeah that’s fair, if GMJR were still in he would probably protect him considering what he gave up to get him but since he’s not u could be right
