I don't know if Vancouver does that. They're probably better using their firsts to bring in a defensemen

Think the Wings would have to say yes to that but no way does Vancouver give up 2 1sts to get rid of Eriksson.

I mean, technically they're giving up a 1st to get rid of 1 year of Loui, then a 1st+Lockwood to get Bert. I think both teams would be 50/50 on this...If I'm Detroit, I'd probably want a slightly better prospect than Lockwood, and if I'm Van, I'd have to be pretty confident that I'm making the playoffs in year 2 of this.
