The isles needed a defenseman. They are not in the market for a bottom 6 center. They are looking to upgrade the top 6.

I mean obviously Jake is having a down year (as is Palms) but I just don’t think adding Palmieri at the expense of Jake makes the team that much better for now and future.

I know who they are.
Moore is a depth piece. But is injured, so his salary isn’t worth moving this year.
Ho-Sang is an AHLer

Pittsburgh would say no as well. He makes too much for that lack of production and he is signed for another 2 seasons.
