I would much rather take krejci for a year than give Danault that horrid contract.

3 more years of rask is a big no. 1 year deal maybe and I can't see him taking a pay cut. Oeleksiak ok. id see howhall looks, maybe a 2 or 3 year deal. Don't give him that term.

Krejci is done imo. Danault still plays with an edge and puts up points.

The contract is. He’s worth 4 x 4.5. If he gets 7 x 6.5 he owes his agent a lot of blowies.

Not bad just not fit for that contract I guess. I think he’ll be better than Krejci. We will see how well Hall and Krejci play together.

Zero chance that we don't protect Gryz.

Which D do they protect? I’d go with Lauzon, McAvoy and Carlo. Grizz gets injured a lot. At some point mgmt has to realize that having half of our D at 5’9” & 170 lbs is a bad idea. Right now we have Grizz Clifton and Ahcan in that mold. TB and St Louis beat up our D and we lost. Should be a lesson learned there.

They protect Mac, Carlo, & Gryz. Gryz is far and away better than Lauzon.

He’s made of glass. We need a strong mobile physical blue line that can handle the physicality of the playoffs. Will not win a Cup with 2-3 smallish D. But DS does not answer my class so we will see.
