That won`t get Eichel but I could see Boston trying to get him.

But yeah I already know Taylor Hall is going to sign a well priced mid-term contract with Boston and absolutely tear it up. Sucks.

Why would they fit together after not fitting in Buffalo?

They’re probably gonna want Carlo or one of the young goalies.

Can't see that package landing Eichel.

Because it’s Boston and not Buffalo.

They didn't fit together you say? When Hall and Eichel were on the ice together

    CF% - 62.3%
    SF% - 57.5%
    SCF% - 64.3%
    HDCF% - 65.5%
    xGF% - 64.3%

For comparison, here is Boston's dynamic duo of Marchand and Bergeron this season

    CF% - 62.4%
    SF% - 64.6%
    SCF% - 58.1%
    HDCF% - 53.9%
    xGF% - 57.6%

For a pair of guys that had never played together, I think Hall and Eichel fit pretty well together.

I can see Hall take a pay cut to stay in BOS for a few years but not that low. Some where around pasta's aav is closer/more reasonable.

Have to think they'd want quality not quantity.

DeBrusk - can be a top 6 scoring winger when he's on, but when he's not he's not bringing much to the game
Vaak - has seen his development slow. I think he's a top 4 upside guy, but more on the 2nd pairing side. At one point he was deemed McAvoy's future partner
Steen - Bottom 6 depth piece and a guy you can find on just about any NHL roster
Studnicka - Bruins best prospect no doubt and has the highest upside, but he's not a lock to be a top 6 guy (although I think he will be)

The picks would be later in the round which drop their value a bit. If I'm Buffalo the discussion starts with McAvoy or Pastrnak and Boston isn't going to entertain that (and they shouldn't). Maybe a guy like Carlo interest them, but now Boston is rolling who on the right side with McAvoy? Whose going to be your PK horse if you trade Carlo? I really just don't see them as good trading partners in an Eichel deal unless Buffalo lets his NMC kick in and at that point he refuses to play and will only accept a deal to Boston.

Was thinking something around 5yr @ $6.5-$7 million if things go well in Boston. Depends on how much he wants to keep playing in Boston I guess.

Plus Jack was playing through at least a rib injury. Just really bad puck luck.
