So here’s my take : for the most part I think your selections are bang on , but I think there are some clear misevaluation in this list. And I just want to say this is only my opinion. Anyways for starters I would definitely have Power at number 1, he’s been so dominant this year and I don’t see anybody passing on what could be a Victor Hedman 2.0 with his ultra mobility and flawless skating jam packed in a 6’5” 210lbs frame. Secondly, I think Edvinsson is way too low in your rankings. He should be a Top 5 pick, or at the very least in the Top 10. He projects to be a minute-munching top pairing guy who will contribute at both ends of the ice. Also, personally I wouldn’t have Stanislav Svozil so high as I question his offensive upside at the highest level. I also think Oskar Olausson is going to rise leading up to the draft. My personal Top 10 would have look like this :

1.Power
2.Beniers
3.Hughes
4.Eklund
5.Clarke
6.Guenther
7.Johnson
8.Edvinsson
9.Lysell
10.Wallsted

Love the comparisons for Clarke, Guenther, Power, Hughes some others.

A few I would disagree with
Sillinger - Laine?
Kent Johnson is all sizzle, no steak. More Alex Kovalev.
Svechkov is more like Marchand than Chib.
I think Lysell is more Ehlers than Eklund.
Stankoven is a very bold call indeed. He needs to grow.

I would have Edvinsson in the top 10. He's at 19 because he has only 1 point in 30 games which isn't good for top 10 talent.

Other than that, I agree with your rankings!

Thanks for the feedback! Who would you compare Sillinger to in this case?

Maybe Cole Perfetti? Not sure he sticks at center.

Lysell didn’t light up SHL either, but he still gets too-10 rating. Edvinsson is top-5 talent and candidate for 1st overall.

Well done. I think player comparisons are fairly subjective, but I actually agree with the majority of them. The only one I have a problem with is Wallstedt. He’s far more positionally sound than Tuukka was at the time (Rask moves himself out of position frequently, even now, to try and make a flashy save) but Tuukka is more agile. I think a better comparable to Wallstedt would be prime Henrik Lundqvist, since he never finds himself out of position.

I saw the Gallagher Comparison and thought is this just going to be a small player who is a little pest comparison, then I looked him up and found a clip of him almost getting into a fight after scoring a goal and realized you were right.
