You could argue he’s not top 5, but I don’t think you would say he’s not top 10. Bergeron is getting older, and is closer to retirement than his prime. Jack Eichel is in his prime right now when he is healthy. Matthews has inflated numbers this season playing against decidedly lesser competition, I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s better than Jack Eichel when he’s healthy. Jack Eichel was in the top 10 of MVP voting last season, and I thought a defenseman I was also on that list.

Top 10 absolutely. But there are 5 centers I would take over him. I would even consider taking Scheiffle over him but it's questionable.

Doesn't matter what you say, he won't even agree to disagree. Personally, I dont think Eichel is top 5. Top 10? Sure. But if I'm building a team, he's not the top center I take.
