What has Hughes done to deserve moving up? Ya he has some power play points, but he’s been so bad in any situation that involves playing defensively.

Farabee should move above even boqvist. Boqvist has been god awful this year, especially on defense. Ya know, his job.

Yeah but he has Norris upside (whether he deserves it or not is another debate) and the Habs could use a LHD

Farabee isn't good defensively either and Boqvist is exactly what the Coyotes hoped Soderstrom (who they drafted in 2019) would turn into

Norris upside? Ya if he completely changes his game and learns how to play the position. Right now, what he is in this league is a power play specialist that should be playing sheltered five on five minutes on the third pair.

Unfortunately the Norris is won by points usually and Hughes can be a ppg guy if the everything goes well

Doesn’t mean he should be 4th overall. Btw, why didn’t you move dahlin down? He’s been very very underwhelming.

Yea, but farabee has turned out better than boqvist, that’s all I’m saying. Boqvist is just stuck on a team where he’s expected to play his position, which he can’t play anyway. If the coyotes wanted that, hey, more power to em!!

He was bad under Krueger this season, but he was great his rookie year along with a big improvement under Granato. I wouldn’t say he’s been underwhelming due to all the records he broke in his first two years.

He’s been a huge disappointed as a first overall pick.

He broke Bobby Orr’s record for most points by a teenage defenseman with 44 as an 18 year old.
2nd all time In points by a teenage defenseman passing Potvin.
And was on pace last season to hit 100 career points before turning 20.
It’s fair to say he’s been disappointing this season, but he hasn’t been underwhelming. He needs to improve his defense of the rush.

He needs to improve his defense in all situations. Actually, he needs to improve his everything in all situations.

His offense is fine and will always be fine. His defense specifically off the rush needs work.

Dahlin is trash defensively but he still has an absurdly high ceiling if he cleans up his defensive game (which he can, he's got all the tools) and Buffalo becomes as competent team
