Description

I have a hard time with Nylanders lack of sandpaper and irresponsible lack of desire to play on the Leafs side of the red line. Yes, he can score but he drives me nuts.
Engvall is strong, gifted skater but looks likes he thinking about skiing conditions in the Alps have the time. Again, lack of sandpaper and inconsistent. Too bad, because he could be a top performer if he decided too.
Holl, I just don't see why all the hype.
Another mystery is what happened to Reilly? Had 1 Norissish season and since then....?
Mikeheyhev wastes way too much time avoiding getting hit for liking. Zero sandpaper! ( Have you noticed a theme here?)😂

Gee, I don't think you have been Leaf games if you don't think Mikheyev doesn't play tough. He's a good forechecker, and takes the body.
Nylander, I know the Don Cherry mentality that it's better to throw the puck in the corner and then try to regain possession of the puck, and that is suppose to show "sandpiper". Nylander tries to control the puck and make play. I admit at times his play is maddening, but geez....not all players can be true grinders, and a team of grinders doesn't win either.

Exactly, it is like Clem thinks no team has ever won with players like Nylander. I mean Phil Kessel is a two time champ!
