Description

Seems alright... Granlund not super important, could fill with Bjugstad, Wennberg, or Haula as well, or just hold off for another season where the C UFA crop looks a bit more offensive.

Are those prices for Coleman, Batherson, and Tkachuk in the ballpark? Keeps both Batherson and Tkachuk as RFAs with this term as well, I believe(both will be under 27).

If Adam Larsson or Ian Cole if either were available that'd be great, if not then slightly less expensive options like Hakanpaa, Vatanen, Bogosian will work to round out the 3 pairs.

Well that 4 years of Tzachuk takes him right into UFA. Granlund for 3 years seems too much, and really he's a better LWer than centre.
Ceci coming back to Ottawa? Doubt it.
I know Tzachuk has a "reputation" but really is his on ice value worth that 7.625m?

If Stützle is ready to play C next year, they would have no need to add a 2C this offseason. Stützle is an LW next year, so they probably don't need to target Coleman.

I know Ceci has found a role in Pittsburgh, but that doesn't mean Ottawa should be interested in bringing him back. Zub is miles better than him, and having him out of the top 4 is ridiculous.if they add a D this offseason they should look at someone like Zach Bogosian to play on the 3rd pair.

Point taken on Zub, I am not in the Sens market so not quite as familiar with him at this point. I also re-jigged the forward lines with Stutzle at wing. I don't think Coleman hurts, but you are probably right, and the money is better spent at a later date. Both him and Granlund.
