The Coyotes won't retain for just a 5th round pick. Doan at 1.5 retained will command a 2nd

He's gonna retire soon and hasn't been the offensive threat he used to be, lost a lot of value so no one will give up a second

You'll have to give up a 1st and an additional prospect if you want Landy. Also i'm sure a lot of teams would give up a second for Doan. He is the type of player who thrives in the playoffs. You know he will be motivated. One of the best rentals available.

Veteran leadership? If you don't have in in Perry, Getzalf, Kessler and Colgliano. the hardly ever the playoffs Doan and Landeskog aren't going to help. Your quote, Also i'm sure a lot of teams would give up a second for Doan. h is the type of player who thrives in the playoffs. You know he will be motivated. One of the best rentals available" He has never thrived in the playoffs. And with his previous NTCs he probably has turned down opportunities to play in the playoffs by not waiving his NTC.. Doan prefers to be on his ranch in April than playing hockey.

Landeskog for Vatanen, a first, and a prospect? Are you insane? The guy can't even average a point every other game this year playing on a line with MacKinnon. Vatanen did that last year as a defensemen, and is one of the Ducks top liners. The third is already too much if you go based off this years numbers, since Vatanen is outscoring Landeskog (I know he started late, but he's a first line forward).
