Seems like a lot to give up for Reinhart. I suspect Reichel, Hardman, and Entwistle will be in AHL next season. My impression is Reichel should be AHL and learn the NA game and Colliton’s system and get big minutes and learn while guys like Borgstrom and maybe Shalunov get an NHL chance and see where everyone fits. After next season we’ll have 2 years of this rebuild and a very good idea of who’s who and then we can bring Reichel up. But I’m also just an ACGM. LOL.

Reinhart has improved under interim head coach Don Granato. If Granato is the head coach going forward, I can see Reinhart staying with the Sabres beyond 2022.

Offense was not the issue this year, which is why I am suspect on how much we will actually improve with Toews back. Defense is the clear issue, and we arent giving up a 1st unless it brings back a clear 1LD

They will have to bring a defensive minded head coach in to help the defensive game

I agree that's what they should do, but they won't. There was too much growth under Colliton this year for him to get canned

Ive given up on Shalunov because Bowman. Ive liked Entwistle a lot even though he can still be groomed. Hardman will be an AHLER. Riechel should get an opportunity to make the team. Reinhart ill take or leave it.
