IT"S EICHEL NOT McDavis!!! Max package is 2 1st's a top prospect and a 2nd or additional prospect. You have 3 1st's 2 2nd's and a 3rd here, reduce to something like Drouin + Zuke or KK + Guhle or Norlinder + 2nd or one of Tuch, Struble or Harris.

The price is higher to any divisional opponents. Why do you think stars are not traded between divisional opponents? Nobody wants to play against a guy who has a chip on his shoulder to prove something every time he plays you eight times a year for the next decade.

Ya very understandable but this would just not be realistic. The Habs would never completely mortgage their future unless it was going to make them better going forward. The Habs would overpay but it needs to be realistic. Buffalo has no leverage in this situation cause if they don’t trade them then they remain terrible. Everyone on here is always expecting the biggest overpays for their players but it doesn’t happen
