under no circumstances should Vancouver be trading this years top 10 pick

Reinhart extension means no miller when his contract is up, Miller is the -TYPE- of player Vancouver needs more of, not reinhart.
Actually what Vancouver Needs is a 23-25 year old RHD

Under no circumstances should Vancouver be attaching picks to any expansion pick - Seattle has no interest in Holtby

Why is Miller the TYPE of player Vancouver needs, but not Reinhart?

This team can easily afford to re-sign miller, Horvat, and hoglander in 2 years even with Reinhardt in the books. The way o have it constructed, there is 8 million dollars in dead cap space that will come off the books, plus every single UFA I signed is on a 2 year deal and will also come off the books when the core pieces need new contracts.

those UFA need to be replaced,
After Boeser nect year, theres Horvat, Hoglander year after, then Hughes, Petey and Podkolzin the year after that.....not as much space as you think

Myers and Pearson come off the same year that petey, Hughes, and Podkolzin need to be resigned.

Yes UFA’s need to be replaced, that’s when you cycle in lower paid players or new ELC contracts for rookies

Reinhart making 6 million is not a problem

the 9-10 million from Myers and Pearson is applied to EP and QH as that is the substantial raise they will receive and I am not sure that's enough.
Podkolzin based on pedigree, skill and expectations will command north of $5m per year.....

you have to think these things out...

this all based on you thinking Reinhart will take $6m, his point production to salary ratio is actually closer to $8m

Miller won't re-sign if this team doesn't start winning soon.

Lmao you literally said "Reinhart extension means no Miller when his contract is up"

Now you're saying good that Miller won't re-sign.
