If we did this trade our ld would be a dumpster fire. Klef is good but Oleksiak replacing Nurse is a major minus and takes Nurse protecting Mcdavid away. I'm not sure if I'd do this trade.

For sure but Nurse is our conerstone defensman, we can sign other wingers of less value to do the same thing and not have to give up Nurse.

Ehlers is the Jets best player, yes he's better then Scheifele, Connor and Hellebuyck, they can't afford to trade him for an expiring LHD, even if Nurse would extend with the Jets they can't afford to lose Ehlers, this losing streak is clear evidence of that.
