IF that's what you want for Lindholm, Carolina will bite your head off for it. That's an extreme undervalue of how good Hampus Lindholm is. He's one of the best analytical defenders in hockey. Carolina are an organisation run on analytics. They will see that value perhaps more than any other franchise.

Lindholm's also been hurt for a while and is an expiring contract for a bad team going through a rebuild. I could see the two teams agreeing to some kind of deal revolving Gardiner + 1st + more assets. This was a minimum package of sorts.

there really isn't any roster space for Deslauriers as it stands right now.
They would have to move out 3-4 wingers to make space.
