No thanks. Galchenyuk is virtually at the same point Duchene is at but younger and cheaper. Why are the Habs making this trade?

Would be puzzling as to why either team would make the trade other than if Colorado go full rebuild and Montreal consider the window to win to be closing. Galchenyuk at 22 versus Duchene at 25 would give Montreal the 'win now' centre, whereas Galchenyuk may have a potentially higher ceiling and is younger for a full rebuild. Sergachev is still a major part of any Duchene deal to my mind.

Lol take out DLR, Beaulieu and draft pick from both team and trade is about equal .. your over evaluation of Duchene is impressive

Even regardless of ceiling which can be debated. He's younger, cheaper, farther away from UFA and home grown (Habs system).
