1. Why would we trade away our best defensive prospects if we're low at RD? I would have signed Lehtonen to an extension and put him in there instead of Peeke.
2. Why would we trade Tex if we want him to develop into a star here?
3. I don't think it would be smart to trade away our original pick if it has the chance of being Top 3.
4. Why would we willingly sign Cody Ceci? Why would ANYONE willingly sign Cody Ceci?
5. I wouldn't sign any goalie in free agency and bring in Tarasov to back up Elvis.
Good effort though, i'll give you that. It's very well laid out but it doesn't look good in the long term.

Let’s go down the list.
Middle 6 center (top 6 winger) rental
Young nhl level forward with top 6 upside.
Young nhl d man w/ 2nd pair upside
A top 5 first round pick
A late first.
A fringe starter good backup. (Down year- inexpensive)

While not the worst offer I’ve seen they probably want one bigger name prospect coming back while removing the other 2.
