Shouldn't be too big a problem, a lot depends on what is considered 'a team friendly deal'. If it's higher than most think on here it just means Saad won't be back.

There is some of that, but the cap isn’t going to be flat forever. Next year you could see all of Byram, Newhook, Kaut, Bowers, and LOC in the line up in regular roles all making under $1M that opens up significant cap space if they consciously choose to do it. Also I’m not convinced that EJ doesn’t end up on LTIR and in an advisory/mentor role on the team which would open up another million. It’s hilarious that ACGM like to throw out how will COL do this when all they really have to do is look at the long term out look and roster players.
