Why on God's green Earth is Edmonton not protecting its second-best defenceman from expansion? Where's Yamamoto?

No thanks to Hoffman, Neal remaining at the NHL level, or Stalock being the backup. No thanks to rushing Bouchard to the top pair after Tippett and Holland galaxy-brained a reason to bench him for most of the season. No thanks to either the Koskinen or Turris buyouts. Poor allocation of money in both regards. Far too much for Mrazek as well: buyer's market for goalies this summer and I'm not shelling out that much for anyone not named Grubauer.

Broberg is getting a full season in the AHL next year. His SHL season wasn't great. Samorukov is much more NHL ready.

Why aren't you protecting Bear? I'm assuming they protect Nurse, Bear, and Klefbom. Bear will absolutely be in the top 4, especially if Barrie leaves and Klefbom stays injured.

You didn't sign any RFAs did you. Like where is Yamamoto?

Sorry, I was watching hockey while doing it and forgot about stuff. I fixed it now. It is just whether you wanna resign Barrie. I think he was carries by McD,Drs and I thing Jones is better even now if he had a chance.

You’ve made the defensive corps significantly worse. And you’ve given 5 year, big money deals to Tatar and Palmeri who are both over 30 and unlikely to continue at their present level of production. Also, you’re giving Mrszak 5M, which is about 2 million more than he should get. And I didn’t even mention not protecting Bear.

Not a lot to like here.
