Buffalo doesn’t want 2 useless cap dumps just for mid round 2nds in 2 years. And if they were willing to take those players on it would be for 7th rounders at best. Ironically they both have no trade clauses, it might not even go through.

If they’re trading Eichel, Reinhart, and Ristolainen they have no choice but to take in cap dumps. They’ll need to reach the cap floor

Buffalo isn't making that trade with Vancouver, there is zero value in taking two 2nds for 2 4th and over 9mil in cap space for a malcontent and a 4C.

Minnesota would need to offer a bit more meat for Eichel.

Then wild would drop out

Replace calen Addison with Dumba. Because rask alone isn't going to help wild cap

I thought about that but I figured that the Wild would just trade Dumba somewhere else or let him go to Seattle to make the cap work out
