Not to mention KK is likely to become a 60-80 point center given the right development. Without the off ice issues too. So thanks but no thanks let Washington keep Kuznetsov.

60-80 point centre... you got to be kidding me. He literally has only 20 points this season, and it’s clear the Habs are not developing him properly. Honestly, I think they squandered his development so much, His ceiling is probably an alright 2C at best. I like KK, but you can’t just look at how the Habs have handled him so far and tell me he’ll get to that point production with the Habs. I still think he has the potential, but his value is at a low at the moment.

I never said his value was high, I said the Habs like him and he still had the potential to be a 60-80 point player if developed properly. Everyone always forgets that Habs management puts a lot of emphasis on not dealing with off ice baggage. Once a player starts demonstrating issues off ice they get traded.

trading away a 20 year old centerman for a guy who is 9 years older making 7M more than him is never a good idea. 80 pts may be a stretch for KK because his skating is horrific, but I can see him putting up around 55-60 pts. again HE IS ONLY 20 YEARS OLD.
