Besides that he has reached or been on pace for 30 goals in each of the last 4 seasons. Giving up scraps doesn't get you Gally especially seeing as he is most likely our next captain.

Leddy is only there for cap reasons and bellows is solid

Ok but Bellows isn't replacing Caufield, Toffoli, Drouin or Anderson in our top 9 and who replaces Gallagher's 30 goals? The last thing Montreal needs is another LHD prospect we currently have in order Romanov, Norlinder, Guhle, Struble, Harris, Leskinen and Fairbrother all fishing for 1 maybe 2 roster spots in the next 3 years. Also I would say those first 5 are as good or better than Bolduc. Then you included Leddy another LHD, which again we are over run with lol. That Felix kid was a 6th round pick and does nothing to add value. Also your picks are mid to late round picks so not a lot of value there either. Think more of along the lines of Nelson to offset scoring a bit and cap + Wilde or Dobson as Montreal needs RHD prospects + 1st to start conversions. Then you still have to convince Montreal to trade Gally so add a bit more to that.

An Established young player is the only thing we'd move our top Goal Scorer and outright Heartbeat of our team.
Even then he'd have to be French Sadly

When it comes to top line stars especially Goal Scorer's you need to offer someone Established.
Offering a bunch of Potential and a Cap dump will never cut it when it comes to a player a team is not interested in even entertaining talks on.
