I agree that Gibson would be a near-perfect add to the Penguins but I just can't see the Ducks giving him up, especially not for anything that the Penguins could offer. Years of trading away picks and prospects has caught up with them, and they have nearly nothing of significant value that would interest the Ducks.

You don't have a prospect that is high end enough to make any sense for the Ducks, and you wouldn't want to trade away the only roster player that really makes sense at this point (Marino).
