Description

CBJ gets a young RHD who’s under contract, a top 15 pick and center prospect who’s ready to break into the NHL soon.

JVR is a good player, but PHI needs the cap space more.

BUF gets a RW who’s under contract long term at a decent price and a former number 2 overall pick who still has some potential, plus two draft picks. PHI gets a versatile goal scorer who can help out on the PP and play center if needed.

PHI signs Adam Larsson to pair with Sanheim and Paul Stastny to be the 3C.

The team doesn’t need to be “blown up” like some think, but they do need some major changes similar to this.

I’ve seen this Jones trade a few times and I think it would be the bare minimum I would consider. However judging off the convos that were happening in much earlier threads I think this deal gets outbid. Quick.

Devils accept, though capspace is at a premium as owners recover from COVID losses so the picks may be off.

I don't think Devils are even paying that much for a $7 million winger, considering the cap situation we are in.
I don't think he is a cap dump, but a single middle round pick may do it.
