Description

I guarantee who ever we get back for him is not gonna be as good as marner. The capitals didn’t trade ovi or backstrom when they couldn’t make it outta the second round, they kept trying and trying until finally they matured enough, and found out how to get it done and perform and win the cup. Who says that can’t happen with marner? He’s only 24. He’s got time to figure it out, and he will. It’s a between the ears thing, he’s an amazing player and we all know this.

the difference is with ovi and backstrom is that they were all well over ppg for most of their post seasons, and did not, in fact, go 17 playoff games without scoring a goal at any point

1 mistake Mitchy and off to Buffalo he goes, and yes trading Mitch is an option and there is nothing wrong with pulling that trigger if this team can't beat a team (that is only at the dance cause the Canucks got Covid and the flames were down right horrible)
