I am an Habs fan for 60+ years and i don't understand all the TO fans who all want to crucify Marmer right away. Marner is the heart of the Maple Leafs and a master in playmaking. Get rid of Matthews instead because soon he will be a troublemaker in TO . He will leave To as soon as he will turn UFA !

Why would you want a center?

Why would we want a wildly overpaid playmaking RW when what we need is the goal-scoring forward on the other end of his passes?

If we trade for Marner, it will be to put him with Byfield, not in exchange for him.
