I have a feeling TOR won't give up Marner for just about anything until he realizes his full potential. Just in case he becomes the next Pat Kane.

At least put JEE as 3C.

Tor trade would be a steal for the Wild. I don't think Tor has a babysitter for Dumba to see how much of his potential he can reach.

Thoughts also means counter offers. JEE has a very good chance of being better than marner plus centers are more valuable than winger just like D men are.

It's true! I'm not saying I would bet on it...but JEE has a chance to be a very special player! My prediction for both would be: Marner a good 1st line wing. JEE an outstanding 2nd line center. You can choose which player would then have more value...

JEE has a ceiling of Koivu (pre knee injury), and a floor of a 3C. Guessing he ends up as a less mean Kadri.

Wild hope that Kaprizov gets to similar level of play as Marner. It's unlikely he'll get there, but that's his ceiling.

I think JEE's ceiling is higher than Koivu's ever was. He's a MUCH better skater and has a MUCH better shot...and maybe even a better hockey IQ. I don't know if he will ever have Koivu's hands though. I think his ceiling is a bonafide #1 center. Gun to my head, however, I would bet he becomes a low-end #1 or a great #2.

Kaprizov is a VERY intriguing prospect. His ceiling is a bonafide top 3 forward/star player...his floor is an absolute bust (if a 5th rounder can be called such). He looks to me to be and play a lot like Parise...but with a lot more god-given skill.

Koivu had very good skating before that knee injury, he never got it all back. The way JEE plays reminds me of Koivu when I've sen him. He's not flashy, but is always there and in position, and defensively responsible.

Kaprizov is hard to find a comparable. I just haven't see much besides the youtube highlights, and the few games at the WJC. Steal of the draft or a footnote is what I see him being, not a lot of middle ground.

Kunin I'm having a hard time with. I thought he'd be a better winger than center in the NHL after watching the UW games. Then in the WJC he played center so differently than he does in college it gave me more hope that he'll end up being a 2C.
