Gabe is hardly a bust there bud. Has the potential to be a 80 point player. As for Turcotte he has been rumoured to be packaged for Eichel. He went 5th overall in 2019 lol. Calgary accepts.

I agree that they are good pieces, but I don't think they do. Would be a tough sell if it was just Tkachuk, adding Zary and two 2nds and it's not even a little close. Also 80 points for Vilardi is a massive stretch.

Hmm let’s see. Gaudreau wants to resign with Calgary. I love Tkachuk but we have to qualify him at 9 million next year. He will want 10 million a year to resign. Monahan for Reinhart is a good trade.

I agree but he won’t be. Treliving loves him. Gaudreau is his guy. If anyone goes it’s Monahan.

Monahan for Reinhart is a great trade for Calgary if you think you can sign Reinhart long term. Monahan is coming off a 45 point pace season and the year prior was paced for 56 points. They also haven’t won Jack **** with him. His numbers have been declining. Reinhart on the other hand has improved nearly every year he has been in the league and has just started playing center and playing well there. Reinhart is rumored to want to go west so Calgary would have a great chance to sign him long term.

But.....Monahan has a no trade clause so this trade gets nixed
