Jake Guentzel should probably be here. I would probably have Brett Pesce over Jones just because Jones has had a few bad season although he is a good player.

Guentzel, Trocheck, Forsberg, Ehlers all got considered but I think it's very hard to remove someone on this lineup

Limited myself with 23man roster, needed to make choices.

C is stacked, no place for Scheifele IMO. We might debate which is better between Scheif/Ziba, I picked the cheapest.
Nylander at 6.9 is a good contract, but not awesome! I'd take Guentzel, Forsberg, Ehlers, Connor before him.
You're right about Point, I totally forgot him.

Girard at $5M for 6 more years beyond this season needs to be on there. That contract is just going to get better and better.

Point, Guentzel and Ehlers are all better than Boeser. Toffoli will regress next year and his contract will be good but not a top12 best like you have here. Jones is overpaid, Girard/Toews/Chychrun over Parayko and Jones. Agreed with most of the rest and the goalies.

You might be right about Toffoli, but he got a heck of a season on a very friendly contract so I wanted to give a honourable mention to that.
