Why would the Rangers trade Zucc or Miller for a defenseman who is going to be a free agent this summer. It's not like he is signed long term. He's a rental rn

Blues would work out the deal to have him signed long term before he's even traded (if he gets traded). It's the only way to maximize the return for him.

Why in the WORLD would they trade Zucc or Miller, arguably their two best players right now? Zucc leads the team in points, and Miller is the most complete player they have as a forward. In terms of this trade, the Rangers shouldn't give up ANOTHER first rounder
