Tampa Bay decline. Try to go after Killorn for the salary cap dump, cause Cirelli will stay in Tampa

Not going after you personally, but i see these two topics come up alot.
1. Why does everybody think Beagle is going on LTIR?

2. Are there any legal implications in buying out Jake V. Having not been proven guilty at this point. Could he (in the future) sue for wrongful dismissal if cleared of charges?

Minnesota declines. Not enough value in that package, and you'd likely be outbid anyway.

i can see that. Next year is the last year in their window, once Point is up they are really going to have to blow up their roster unless Stamkos retires for health reasons or something.

Beagle LTIR is basically wishful thinking right now. No confirmation in his status yet. He had a neck injury this year.

As for the Virtanen buyout, any player can be bought out during the buyout period, for any reason. Does not matter what the purpose is, how the player performed, etc. If Jake Virtanen is found guilty prior to the buyout window, I would bet the Canucks don’t even buy him out, they just terminate his contract completely

Or (not likely but possible} he pulls a Hedman and takes 2-3 less than on the open Market to stay. No one can convince me Hedman wouldn't have gotten Doughty/ Karlsson money on the open market, but he signed the first day he was eligible

I think they have been trying/willing to move Killorn, Palat, Johnson for a couple yrs. Teams know Tampa are in a bind and so they will look to snag players like Cirelli, Gourde, Cernak. We'll see how that plays out but the former three couldn't be moved last summer and a fortuitous Kucherov injury made the roster possible otherwise some big names might already be gone.
