Elliotte Friedman literally said Troy Terry is the one who wants the change in scenery. I am not a Ducks fan, I don't know what their management said, but if Troy Terry is being heavily tossed around in trade possibilities by the media and fans league wide its for a reason. Sorry.

Then dont pretend like you do know about what the Ducks management is doing. They have flat out said Terry is a future building block at their exit interviews. Once he started playing on a line with Comtois and Zegras he looked great. He is not being shopped and the only one that knows if he wants out is himself because there is no actual proof of that, its just a baseless claim, if you read the quote from the article you sent me, even Friedman was just blindly speculating “One young player who might be up for a change of scenery is Troy Terry in Anaheim,”

There is zero certainty in that statement, it is pure speculation, and bad speculation at that

He said Terry was being discussed at the deadline when ANA were looking to add a superstar forward, not a mediocre prospect and a 4th liner.

The 4th period reported the young pieces that could be on the move this offseason are Lundestrom, Steel, Tracey and Perreault. Not a single mention of Terry anywhere near trade talks in the most recent reports and management singled him out as a building block for the future of the Ducks, not another teams future

What superstar forward were they getting for Troy Terry? And saying my claim is baseless because you don't believe in the top reporter in the sport cause it isn't what you would like to hear is not my fault. Its just a fun mock team. Didn't mean to hurt anyones feelings or offend anyone. Its not that serious buddy.

Its common knowledge they were in talks to get Laine, and Dubois. Im saying its baseless because he literally said "might be" that doesn't sound like its undisputable fact to me. There have been numerous times Friedman has been flat out wrong as well, everything he says isnt fact. I know it isnt that serious, I know what im saying is true tears of joy

Exactly, by fans "league wide". And most of them don't know anything about the Ducks but saw that he allegedly wants to leave once. He isn't leaving unless it's for a major upgrade. And the trade rumors were after he got scratched a couple of time in the first half of the season but after the rumors BM and Eakins finally realized how good he is and they praised him during post season interviews and since the first rumors you haven't heard anything about him wanting a change of scenery.

This Trade is basically Terry and a 5th for Liljegren. (Engvall does't help the Ducks in any way and there is also no space on the roster for him.) And Liljegren isn't worth losing one of only 2 goof NHL-level RW on the team.
