As a Flyers fan, hard pass on this. You're obviously in the 'burn it down' crowd - I am not. I do understand that big trades require big names ... but shipping JVR AND Patrick to Seattle just to have them take Ghost? GTFO. I bet they'd take Ghost just for Patrick, no problem. Then packaging Frost AND Sanheim for basically another Frost? Why the heck would Chuck do that? If you're being realistic about acquiring Graves sending Sanheim there makes a lot more sense to both parties ... but I would NOT make that trade as Chuck. I also find it hilarious that you want Hathaway and Simmonds ... I loved Wayne but he's totally cooked; you may as well dress John LeClair. Finally, Sanford as 3C simply isn't sufficient; at very least give Laughton credit and put him there in your lineup, so your 4th line can truly be bad rather than spreading the awful over two lines.

It wasn’t done when you looked at it edits have been made. Simmer would be a good presence on the 4th line as would Hathaway. This team is tougher to play against and is much improved on d, helping out Hart.

Value wise, that Blues trade is pretty good especially if the Blues aren't expecting to sign Parayko (which they want to). I would switch Zamula for a 2nd round pick possibly though. Overall, pretty good though.

If Dougie signs before a trade like you said, he would cost a lot more than that. Unless it’s a scenario where Dougie tells Carolina “hey im going to Philly, would you like to facilitate the eighth year?”
