I like your team for the most part.

    A) No team is taking Koskinen unless a 1st is attached to him. That's a hard truth.
    B) The Oilers cant run Benson - McLeod & Archibald as your 4th line. This wont get it done, It's my opinion that both players belong in the AHL or at most, an extra forward.
    C) Mix it up! You have way more CAP space if you put Turris & Shore in the AHL a 2.0m savings (the Oilers will do this) - Lagesson and Russell are both extra D-man and ether is worth putting in the AHL at 1.5m savings...Remember the Oilers have a hand shake agreement with Larsson, bet he will be back.
    D) You need to up the value on your trades - Kahun & Stalock have almost zero value.

I don't think his value is that low. It would take more than what he's offering, but I think if the Oilers retained around $2mil on Koskinen's contract then the trade isn't far off. He had a bad year, but he's not that bad a player. Decent 1B or backup option for a team that will likely lose a starter in free agency.

    Thanks for the comments.
    - I should have put Larson and not signed Hamilton so Bouchard can develop and move up if he is expected to be top 4.
    - 3LD spot is open for a 1 yr veteran signing but I left it kind of open because some writers seem gung ho on Broberg so I wanted that spot left for him to move up later in the season
    - I don't think they would put Shore in the AHL right after they sign him for 2 years. They need extra forward roster spots so there is no real savings putting Shore and Turris in AHL because you put 2 other contracts in their place.

Ok, I see two may be three teams that would be willing to do this ( Take on his contract) but it comes with a severe kick in the coconuts for the Oilers. Your losing a pick or a prospect.
I'm an Oiler fan and If I'm looking objectively at Koskinen " I WANT" come's to mind a lot when trying to make a deal.

Shore was signed as a tweener, a guy who can move up and down between the AHL and the NHL and a player to be exposed in the expansion draft. Turris is never seeing the NHL again unless serious injuries happen, his CAP hit in the minors is just to much money saved.
