Description
The Leafs may have to add more for Jenner, but I think he is a solid 3C for what the Leafs need and has played well previously with Foligno.
Signing Bunting and Granlund instead of Hyman makes the team more well rounded, as Bunting is Hyman lite and Dubas and Keefe had him in the Soo way back when and Granlund has been a previous target of Dubas. He takes over Kerfoot as a versatile forward who is a pretty good playmaker and can play in the top 6. The D is unchanged and letting Liljegren battle for a spot makes sense. Also I think the Leafs may have to add to get Kirk, but I feel like he could be a similar unearthed gem, similar to Hyman from a few years ago. Leafs seem to be good at identifying talent and it translates into legit NHLers (Hyman, Moore, Johnsson, Grundstrom, Engvall, etc).
Reimer and Jack is the nicest tandem ever, and Reimer coming back gives the team a heartwarming story plus some much needed PR points after the collapse.

i like the idea of getting jenner but idk if the 1 for 1 is enough, maybe a pick or prospect gets deal done

Why I think 1 for 1 is more feasible is because Kerfoot is under contract for 2 more years while Jenner is only under contract for 1, and Kerfoot's numbers have been better than Jenners recently.

im not disputing that, Columbus sees that the leafs need that 3rd line shut down center, and they want to milk them for as much as they can offer

Folingo resigns with CBJ
Goodrow would be a good substitute or don’t sign Boyd and Simmonds and get Coleman

Dont think its a slam dunk necessarily. There was a rumor out there that Foligno has told people he wants to stay in Toronto. It makes sense, he has unfinished business, and at this point he may not want to go through a rebuild in Columbus. I thought he played well with Matthews and Marner before he got injured. Would be a decent replacement for Hyman.
I do agree that either Coleman and Goodrow would be good potential options, and especially with Goodrow he is from Ontario, so maybe a homecoming?
I liked Boyd in a 4th line role, thought he did well and I would bring him back at league min.

Congrats on being one of few Leaf posters that have a full roster. Don't know why folks think Jenner is good enough to replace Kerfoot. Foligno, I think there is better value elsewhere.

I think Foligno wants to stay, and I feel like it compensates for the haul Dubas gave up. Also he was injured and he can either slot in next to Jenner playing a defensive role while chipping in with 30 points or so or he can play next to Matthews and Marner where he did well before he got injured.
