If Sabres are moving Samuelsson it's gonna be a prospect swap like Nylander for Joki. Not for a below average goalie. Then for some reason we're adding a pick too. No thanks.

I don't know that the Sabres make that move. Their goalies are underrated due to the crap team in front of them (no offense Sabres fans). I don't it's impossible, but I don't think the return works. If Buffalo did it, I think the 3rd is as high as them or any team would go.

As for the rest of it, I don't LOVE it, but it all seems plausible. The only other part I think you're off on is Blueger's salary. I think he gets between $2-$2.5M.

What is going on here?? Lol.

Jarry was still a division winning goalie. Was 25-9 in one of the toughest divisions in the NHL last year. Was an All-star the year before. Still just 26 years old and signed to a cheap 3.5M deal for only 2 more seasons.

Pens need a back-up, 1B goalie.preferably a vet. Like the Jarry/Murray combo was.

Casey DeSmith was hurt during the play-offs this season. It might have been different if he was healthy and could’ve given Jarry a night off. And Sorkin stood on his head for the Isles.

I get u think u are getting cap relief in these trades. But for what??

U can’t just go out and sign another top 6, 20 plus goal scorer like Zucker. Or a 24 year old LHD, that has play-off experience, and has chemistry with Marino. Was never a minus(-) in his career yet. Long stick, long reach, very good defensively, good shoot from the point. Still young and still more potential there.

And to get rid of C.Clang. He was the MVP of his league on a last place team. The goalie. Winning the leagues MVP on a last place team. None of these trades or signings make any sense to me.

This doesn’t make the Pens better at all.
