Blues aren't going to get any better deal for Tarasenko unless he comes back and plays 60 games and has 30 goals. Otherwise, they'll be lucky to get a second and a b prospect. They can just resign Hoffman who will cost less.

Not sure I follow why people think Tarasanko should just hang up his skates and retire because he's got a busted shoulder. I'm in the group that expects him back in action. Hes damn near a point a game player for us and lead the playoffs for us last year in most goals not to mention. Two mid to late first rounders arent worth what Tarasanko does for this team.

I love Vova, but we've been hearing this for two years now that he is fully healthy and ready to go, but after just a few games he gets hurt again. At 7.5m and being 29, that doesn't look promising. Steen was never the same player after his similar shoulder surgeries.
