  1. Eichel, Jack
Additional Details:
The 2022 1st is conditional:

Condition: If Eichel fails to play in at least one-half of the 2021-2022 regular season for the Kings, then the Kings keep their 2022 1st.

That means if next season is 82 games, Eichel needs to play 41 of those games for the Kings in order for Buffalo to receive the pick.
2.
BUF
LAK
I know I previously negotiated this Eichel trade with the Kings:

Alex Iafallo + Alex Turcotte + 8th Overall + Helge Grans for Jack Eichel

    https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/2444896

Unfortunately, things have changed because multiple teams are now seriously interested in acquiring Eichel.

So, either the Kings need to match the offers from other teams or the Kings are out :(

Im good with the LA trade. Please stop looking to get us left handed d. Dahlin, bryson, samuelsson, johnson, probably powers, probably mccabe. We dont need any, even if you consider hickey and pettersson straight cap dumps for 2nds, picking them up just blocks kids that can be getting ice time. If casey mittelstadt is our 1c we are dead in the water, we do however need 2 league-average nhl goalies, ullmark is almost certainly done here, and tokarski is not an nhl goalie (maybe a slightly used backup on a good team, but i dont need to see him get shelled for 5 a game for 35 games here).

I do in fact consider Hickey and Petterson to be cap dumps, nothing more.

Looking at Buffalo's cap situation, they are right at the floor with Eichel, Reinhart and Ristolainen all playing elsewhere.

Without the cap dumps, the Sabres would be in a bit of a pickle frown

My next post, which will be my last before I call it a day, is coming right up.

I think you'd like it smile

I personally like Eichel. I think he’s great. I wouldn’t mind him in LA at all. Rob Blake will not be moving Byfield or Turcotte any time soon. I can also say the Kings will by no means be a Contender next year when with Byfield. They’re about 2-3 seasons away from being a legit solid Contender. That being said by then I’m pretty sure Turcotte, Grans, Iafollo, and the 8th overall pick would have more impact to the Kings combined then Eichel alone.

I don’t think Eichel will be wearing a Kings uniform.

I don't see Ullmark wanting to come back to play behind the D core that they're going to have next year. I think they'll have a hard time convincing any FA goalie to go there.
