If I could accept that deal for the Pens I would.

Wait why are we trading Yam and Russell for someone who is likely gonna be unprotected during the expansion draft?

and I doubt Seattle touches Neal with at least a 2nd round pick coming over.

Also people gotta stop with the Bear for Kuemper trades.. he’s 31 years old and although I’d like him on the Oilers, that’s far from the kind of deal I’d propose.. like adding our best goalie prospect too?? If I’m trading Bear+ for any 4 mill goalie with 1 year left it’s gonna be Merzlikins.

Also I’m vomiting at that 6 mill for Barrie contract

LOL I'm sorry, but I can't see any reality where this makes sense for the Penguins. Did you actually look at our cap situation or know that we're trying to UPGRADE our goalie position? Koskinen is a bum making $4.5M.

You can't be serious. The Pens send $1.5M out and bring back $8M? $4.5M of that for a goalie that could get real playing time on a team that desperately needs goaltending?

Nope. 2.5M for that goalie. The trade said they retain 50% salary. And he’s be a very good 1b goalie in my opinion. 6’7, still young. Is a winning goalie for his Career.

Pittsburgh’s defensive system is way better than Edmonton’s. Jarry/Murray both All-Star goalies. Koskinen is a more highly touted goalie/prospect than both Jarry and Murray.

And yes, 100% serious.

Young? 32 years is old is young in the NHL? That's news to me.
