I based this on the O'Reilly trade and upgraded a bit. I think I'd eventually have to upgrade Pearson to either Veleno or Rasmussen. I'm really bad at trades though, so this may not make any sense at all.

I think any trade that has Eichel going to Detroit is a bad trade. He costs more than the Wings can afford to lose. Adding a player like Eichel should make a team better this trade makes Detroit worse.

That's mostly what I've said. I just started thinking along the lines of this trade in an exercise of contemplating my navel. Honestly though, if Buffalo agreed to this deal, I think Detroit would be insane not to consider it. Not to necessarily say yes. But at least think about it.
