I can definitely see us buying out P.K. Subban this off-season though. He only has 1 year left and it'll free up and extra 1M in cap space. There's no reason not to do it.

He is a top-4 d-man...and is a leader on team.
Also, makes only $2 million after July 28 bonus, could fetch healthy return at deadline.

Yeah; u would have Dougie and Marino for years to come at RD and PK can be our third pairing guy for this year. After this year, u just look for a dependable third pairing guy or call up L Hughes or Shakir

I’d still think PK plays top-4 over Marino.
Subban gets a lot of hate...but he is still a pretty good d-man.
I would even look at re-signing him (at much lower $$)

I completely agree, I think people see his numbers and think he isn't that good, he is a leader, and he has lots of skill, if Hamilton isn't signed Subban should be the top Right D man. Also I think FitzGerald will unfriendly try to get rid of subban, but I think re-signing him at a lower price next year is a really good idea.
