Eichel to LA
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>wagsnags</b></div><div>Very nicely done with this trade.... you stayed away from Turcotte & Byfield.... I continue to say one of those would have to be in the deal for GM Adams to say yes to moving Captain Jack.
Adding Iafallo in the deal goes a long way to Adams being willing to overlook not getting one of the top two prospects.
I would like to see you swap Tyler Madden for Jordan Spence.</div></div>
I think every team has their untouchables and Turcotte, Byfield, and Kaliyev are LA's big three. They're both untouchable in my eyes. Anything else is fair game. Especially since Vilardi is also a top young center. There's really no need to have to give up Turcotte or Eichel when a center of Vilardi's level is also available. Buffalo being able to walk away with such a high talent, while LA can still keep their key pieces is a luxury that no other team in the Eichel sweepstakes has which is huge for them. I also see ****emo and Kupari as being interchangeable, but I decided to add ****emo because Kupari seems to be more highly regarded and LA doesn't really have a ton of high end winger prospects. At least, none that I know of. And lastly, I added Spence because Buffalo is going to want a defenseman.

Eichel to the Rangers
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>wagsnags</b></div><div>You have been doing a plethora of trades today. Good on ya mate!!!!!
Sabres & Rangers what would it take to get a deal done involving the NYR:
1. Jones is a no go for the Sabres as they have ample Left Side Dmen
2. The package you put together is a 1st Round talent in Kravstov & Chytil and those players would be fine for GM Adams
3. the NYR 1st Round pick in 2021 also checks a box for GM Adams
4. The 2021 Third Round Pick of the Sabres and the NYR 2nd Round Pick in 2022 would not be very appealing for GM Adams
I am on the record many times stating that in order for the NYR to be bale to acquire Captain jack then the NYR WILL HAVE to include either Kappo/Lafreniere.
GM Adams would counter your trade proposal with:
1. Chytill
2. Kravtsov
3, Kappo or Lafreniere
4. NYR 1st Round Pick in 2021</div></div>
Giving up Kakko or Laf is an overpayment on NY's end. They don't need to get Eichel in order to complete a top 2 center core. If I'd have to give up one of them, I'd give up on Eichel go trade for another 2C like Danault for someone like them. Trades have to be a win/win for both teams. I think the goal for NY's peak going forward, is for Laf and Kakko to be on the same top line when they peak. Giving that potential top line, even if it's for Eichel is an L in my eyes. The whole point to getting Eichel is to complete the rebuild, not swap assets. Whether Buffalo likes it or not, the buyer has more power in this sweepstakes than give them credit for. Buffalo's asking price is simply unrealistic and too much for most teams. The only team that I see having the luxury to overpay is LA because they're overflowing with future top 6 centers to give in return for Buffalo's loss of Eichel. Besides, the Rangers could also trade Buch instead of Laf or Kakko.

Seattles First Big Trade
This is absolutely horrible for Edmonton. Neal only has 1-year left on his deal and can be bought out easily this year. There's absolutely no need to give up assets to get rid of him. Especially a top 6 young winger in Yamamoto who has been one of the NHL's top prospects for the past few years prior to last year, who just so happens to be apart of that lethal Nug-Draisaitl-Yamamoto 2nd line, for nothing but a 3rd Round Pick. That's basically Yamamoto for Future Considerations. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Jack Eichel Darkhorse
It's gonna take more than one top line winger and a top prospect. I also doubt that Vegas will trade Smith. Marchessault-Karlsson-Smith line is arguably their best line. If there gonna trade trade anyone out of that top 6, I'd say it's either Karlsson or Stephenson that goes because Eichel will take their place.

Brady and Connor are trainwrecks defensively. Kane gets a pass on his defensive ineptitude for obvious reasons though. Also, all of these centers are better than Larkin.

Marchand / Crosby / Bergeron

Tavares / Barzal</div></div>
I like it, but I think Stone has just been way too good to be on the 4th line. I made the 2nd line Huberdeau - MacKinnon - Stone for 2 reasons.
1. Having a 1-2 punch of the NHL's top 2 players is too disgusting not spread out between your top two lines.
2. Talking Hockey did a breakdown on how that line would be very similar to the dominant Landeskog - MacKinnon - Rantanen line.

Team Canada 2022 June 2021
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Alfie11</b></div><div>At this point it’s hard to deny Price will get one of the spots. I’d expect these 3, Price, Kuemper, and Binnington to get camp invites and I think the vets win the top 3 jobs (Price/Fleury/Kuemper) unless there’s a serious regression.
RD looks good but Canada loves having an equal leftie/rightie setup, so I don't think they bring in Weegar or Spurgeon to play their off-hand side. I’d put Chabot and Theodore in as 2 of the LD, with Chychrun/Nurse/Rielly/Girard/Toews gunning for the 3rd LD spot.
Agree with the forwards except I’d swap RoR and Couturier, they do basically the same thing but RoR is a little better imo. Lines might look a little different (if they don’t have at least 2 of McD/Mack/Sid on a line I might cry) but those would be my top 12/14 too.</div></div>
The main difference between Couturier and Ryan O'Reilly is the fact that Ryan O'Reilly has a below average shot, while Couturier has a great shot.

Honestly, Team Canada is superteam, so predicting who makes the roster anytime before the year before or of the Games is basically a guessing game. Predicting Team USA or any other country is much easier. Canada just too many stars to pick from.
But this is a jacked team.

He's a lock to be a rookie next year, so he'd be a waste of a roster spot. Had he not graduated this year, he'd absolutely be included. Can the Leafs Afford to Upgrade the Blue Line
The Leafs should defintely keep Holl and Engvall. I think Engvall is more suited for the 4th line than Joey Anderson is and that's coming from a Devils fan. Also, Holl is a really solid NHL calibur RD. Putting him in either the minors or trading him would be such a waste. I would say send Bogosian down over Holl because Bogosian is only good at throwing his body around, and nothing else. Holl may not be as physical as Bogosian is, but Holl is still physical, and can actually defend. Holl had the third most hits on the Leafs. Don't let the addition of Bogosian distract you from Holl.
